Ms. Jillian McKinney

Biography

Jillian McKinney is a piano pedagogy major at Bryan College. She began by playing little songs of her own
on either church pianos or toy keyboards and was put into piano lessons at age eight, and violin lessons
at age 11. She has loved music ever since and enjoys playing things by ear and composing. She loves to
play hymns as well and was made church pianist in 2020 after having played violin there for a few
years.  Jillian is currently a member of the Bryan College Piano Ensemble, Bryan Chorale, and the Bryan
Community Orchestra Club. She greatly loves and appreciates music and hopes to foster a similar love in
the hearts of her students.
