The Criminal Justice Department has so much to offer you, no matter your path. If you want to work straight law enforcement, then a Criminal Justice Degree is a great fit. Often though, students want to work more in the social work aspect of Criminal Justice. If this is you, the Criminal Psychology degree is a perfect match. With Criminal Psychology, you will take 21 hours of Criminal Justice and 21 hours of Psychology. This degree will prepare you to identify not only the criminal aspect but the mental as well. Forensic Accounting is new this year. This degree is for the student that is comfortable with audits and numbers. Once you obtain this degree, you can work in the Federal and State arena dealing with forensic audits and the legal aspect.  If students chose not to be a part of the law enforcement side of Forensic Accounting, they could still work in the private sector. Last but not least, the Forensic Science degree prepares the student to work in a crime lab.  Students will be able to work in a state or federal lab with this degree, analyzing all evidence removed from a crime scene.

We are so excited to offer a minor in Digital Forensics as well. Digital Forensics is learning how to preserve evidence found within technology such as a cell phone, computer, or GPS. We encourage all of our students to have a minor while in our program. A minor in Digital Forensics will set you apart from your competition.
