Earn your bachelor’s degree or master’s degree from Bryan College and receive a $1,000 scholarship through our online program.
As a staunch supporter of our military, Bryan College is proud to offer the following benefits to qualifying service members:
*Active duty members can submit a DD Form 1172 to confirm their status with the school.
GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
Deployment
You can take classes whether at home or deployed, and you’ll be able to count on support from our dedicated advising team with a strong military background.
TN Strong Act
The Tennessee STRONG (Support Training and Renewing Opportunity for National Guardsmen) Act established a program to provide eligible members of the Tennessee National Guard tuition funding toward a first bachelor’s or first master’s degree or a certificate or diploma from a vocational or technical school through a tuition reimbursement program. This program is used in conjunction with Federal Tuition Assistance to pursue professional and personal self-development goals.
Defer
As STRONG is a tuition reimbursement program, Bryan College allows students’ bills to be deferred for one semester for their TN STRONG Act payment to come through. If eligibility requirements are not met or the student reaches their TN STRONG Act yearly limit, they will then be expected to pay the balance in order to continue with future classes.
Who is eligible for benefits?
GI Bill® Education Programs
The category of benefits you may receive will depend upon when you served, your length of service, and other factors. You must be admitted to the college in a degree or certificate-seeking program to receive benefits. Assistance, including tuition & fees, books, supplies, and housing stipend, depends upon your Letter of Eligibility rating from the VA.
Students eligible to receive educational benefits through the Veterans Administration (VA) should contact the VA School Certifying Official who is housed in the Registrar’s Office.

The Helping Heroes Grant
The Helping Heroes Grant does not count against your GI Bill® benefits. The grant is available each year to as many as 375 eligible veterans on a first-come, first-serve basis and will award $1,000 to students completing at least twelve (12) semester hours each term. Applicants need to have been awarded The Iraq Campaign Medal, The Afghanistan Campaign Medal, or The Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal.
Bryan College’s counselors will assist in making sure your service is identified and will guide you through the application process. Together, we’ll help you meet your goals faster at Bryan College, with our generous academic and military transfer-credit policies.
